These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mikron mobile application and services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by CINAR Technologies ("Mikron," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
1. The Service
Mikron provides a cross-platform mobile application that enables users to remotely manage and access their Mikro ERP desktop applications. The Service allows you to connect to your existing Mikro ERP system, view data, and perform ERP functions through a mobile interface.
2. User Responsibilities
As a user of Mikron, you are responsible for:
- Account Security: Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access.
- ERP System Compatibility: Ensuring your Mikro ERP system is compatible with our Service and properly configured for remote access.
- Data Backup: Maintaining regular backups of your ERP data independently of the Mikron Service.
- Lawful Use: Using the Service only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Data Loss Disclaimer

MIKRON AND CINAR TECHNOLOGIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS THAT MAY OCCUR IN YOUR MIKRO ERP DATABASE. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss resulting from:
- Network connectivity issues or service interruptions
- Mikro ERP system failures, crashes, or malfunctions
- User error, misuse, or unauthorized access to your ERP system
- Third-party service provider failures or security breaches
- Software bugs, compatibility issues, or system updates
- Force majeure events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Important: You acknowledge and agree that you use the Service at your own risk and that you are solely responsible for implementing appropriate data backup and recovery procedures for your Mikro ERP system.
4. Service Availability
While we strive to provide reliable service, we do not guarantee that Mikron will be available at all times. The Service may be subject to maintenance, updates, or interruptions. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property
The Mikron application and all related intellectual property rights are owned by CINAR Technologies. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your business purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CINAR Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, regardless of the theory of liability.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
